Tri-Rivers RAMTEC students earn Whirlpool Apprenticeships
Tri-Rivers RAMTEC students earn Whirlpool Apprenticeships . Six Engineering Tech students at Tri-Rivers RAMTEC have earned the opportunity to be part of Whirlpool Marion’s Summer Apprenticeship program. This will help them get a great start in high tech manufacturing careers.
The Tri-Rivers RAMTEC graduates were accepted into the Whirlpool Maintenance Skilled Trades Co-op program.
Their instructor Ritch Ramey said he is proud to announce the the following sx students have been accepted into the Whirlpool Maintenance Engineering Summer Co-op program. They will start June 5th at $18 per hour. Upon the completion of the summer program they will have the opportunity to enter the Whirlpool Maintenance Apprenticeship (through RAMTEC) program at $26 per hour and then will work towards their Journeymen card over a 5 year period.
This is a first for Whirlpool. This could lead to more program cooperation with the RAMTEC program at TRCC. The following students were selected by Whirlpool’s engineering and maintenance leadership team:
