Moving At the Speed of Business
“We are attempting to move at the speed of business.” That’s what Tri-Rivers Superintendent Chuck Speelman told the group of educational and industrial representatives gathered at Tri-Rivers in April.
This group met to discuss the need for skills training and the creation of the Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing Technology Education Collaborative (RAMTEC), which will be located at Tri-Rivers.
Speelman said, “We were on the right track, but we were moving at a snail’s pace. We need to move quickly and smartly to provide opportunities for our young people to go forward — to be career-ready and college-ready.”
Speelman, who is in his sixth year as TRCC Superintendent, is dedicated to moving Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing training forward.
